This stunning setting is representative of an Alfresco French Provincial dining experience, styled by me, at a home on Sydney’s North Shore for Stylish Life Magazine. The pieces were sourced predominately from Shades Of Pale, in Northbridge, as well as pieces I’d sourced myself from local homeware shops on the North Shore.
This urn was used as the centrepiece feature in this setting. It was filled with the small leaf eucalyptus gum in keeping with the European style of the table setting.
Linen is widely used in France and was therefore the material of choice in this dining setting. Two different coloured linens were used to create the table runner, as well as charcoal linen placemats.
The stand used for drinks in this setting was actually a very old planter box, however, with a little creativity became the most stylish drinks stand. I used pine branches, again keeping with the European feel, to line the inside of the stand. Champagne bottles were then placed evenly throughout this.
